Prices
Prices are shown in EUR, USD, GBP, and DKK.
VAT (25% in Sweden) is NOT included in the price, since there is no VAT on antique and vintage goods.
Tariffs
Tariffs might occur when shipping to countries outside of the EU. These are paid by the customer and differ from country to country. Please check with your local authorities what applies to your specific country.

After receiving some TLC, all our rugs are labeled.
Payment
PayPal
We offer payment via PayPal, an easy and secure payment system. Payment via PayPal can be done automatically when you use the shopping cart on our website. About PayPal, see www.paypal.com. Following your order, we will contact you, preferably by email, to confirm your purchase and shipping price.
Card Payment
With this option, you have the choice of VISA, Master Card, or American Express.
Invoice
If you choose this method of payment, you should not use the “shopping basket” on our website when you order your rug. Once you’ve decided which rug you’d like to buy, send us an email with your request: info@rugsofsweden.com. Please remember to include your name, address, phone number, email address, and description (name/number) of the rug. You will then receive an email reply confirming your order and an invoice, payable in advance of the rug being shipped.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide!
Three or four times a week, parcels are picked up by FedEx or DHL at Rugs of Sweden in the countryside just off Karlshamn in Sweden, and then they are shipped to their destinations. This works fast and securely.
Depending on the destination, your parcel will arrive 2-4 working days after it has been picked up here. This is for destinations in Scandinavia. It takes an estimated 3-6 working days to other destinations in Europe and 5-10 working days for destinations outside Europe.
We disclaim any liability that may arise as a result of any delays caused by the shipping carrier. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, such as a lorry breakdown, a traffic accident, major traffic delays, or severe weather, we will not be responsible for any delayed deliveries arising out of any cause beyond our control.


Transport damage
If your package is damaged on arrival, we ask you NOT to accept it. Please ask the carrier to return the package unopened. Kindly to note this on your receipt or the package, before returning it. All goods are insured against damage and theft.
If, on the other hand, you discover that the product is damaged when you open it, please immediately contact us.
Note
Please remember that you are purchasing a vintage/second-hand item (unless you buy a rug characterized as “new woven” in our product information). By definition, vintage items are used. We aim to only sell rugs that are in good condition, clean and odor-free; however, this is sometimes a matter of opinion. We make the very best effort to describe the colours and condition both in writing and by using high-resolution, high-quality photos.
Return policy
We have 60 days return policy for our rugs if notified within 5 days of receiving the rug. Please contact us a.s.a.p so that we can make arrangements for the return shipping. The right to return goods applies under the premise that the customer has not damaged the goods. When returning goods, please include the original documents with the return shipment. When we have received and checked the goods, you will receive your refund. If you choose to return a product, you are responsible for ensuring that the goods are returned in the same condition as they were originally when shipped out from Rugs of Sweden. Any damages due to incorrect or insufficient packaging will be charged.
Care
We recommend that rag rugs be washed by hand and air-dried or dry-cleaned.

Your personal information is securely treated in accordance with applicable provisions of the Swedish law about personal data (PUL, Sweden).
